La bohème is an undeniable success!

La bohème was staged at the Concordia Theatre last month and is still receiving rave reviews! The entire cast have been praised for their performances as well as the set designer and director.
Audiences queued outisde the door to the box office every night, hoping a couple of tickets would be available. The production sold more tickets than every other Opera the company have staged and put Stanley Opera on the map as being a company providing excellence at a price everybody can afford!

Kirsty Michele Anderson is now officially the youngest soprano in history to have played Puccini’s tragic heroine, Mimi. Here are some of her reviews:

“A voice is often referred to as an ‘instrument’. Kirsty’s voice is an ‘orchestra’.”

“This being my first opera I was not sure what to expect. I was blown away with the acting skills and the beautiful voice of Kirsty Michele Anderson. This girl ought to be in the movies and I am quite sure in the not too distant future, I’ll be watching her on the big screen. Kirsty I give you a standing ovation.”
